How to use this map
Find a seat: type in the search box and pick from the list, or click a seat on the map. The result opens in a panel; close it with the × or Esc.
Keyboard:Tab to the map, then use the ←→↑↓ keys to move between neighbouring seats and Enter to open the result. + and − zoom, 0 shows the whole country.
Zoom and move: use the + and − buttons, pinch on a touchscreen, or hold Ctrl (⌘ on a Mac) while scrolling. Drag to move. Plain scrolling moves the page, not the map.
Screen readers and no-colour use: choose Table for the same data as a sortable table, with the winner and lead written out for every seat. Each selected seat is also announced in words.
Hex view draws every seat the same size, which makes small city seats easier to find and select.

Shares are central estimates across 300 simulations. 631 seats; the Speaker’s seat is not projected. “By lead” shading fades seats by the gap between first and second place: lightest under 5 points, darkest 15 or more.
